A small piece of history

 Slotsgaden 14 was in its time a very large and important farm in the historic town of Møgeltønder.  It was Schackenborg castle steward who built the farm in 1739    The family has kept the farm in the family ownership until the 1990s,  when it was sold and turned into a farm shop with old things and a cafe was installed in the barn Later, Torben and Brita Alminde took over the farm and continued in the same style  * * * Now it is my turn, since I have taken over the property in 2022.  My name is Jane and I was born and raised in Denmark, but I have lived in Paris for the last 35 years where I have been  design, indoor decoration and cooking. Good experience that I think I can use to build on and make this already amazing shop even more exciting. Cooking is one of my favourite activities and I want to make a lot more of the café's activities and offerings.  Part of the adjoining stable-shop is constantly being improved and can accommodate various larger events such as company parties or private celebrations such as christenings, birthdays or weddings.  In the main house there are three rooms "en suite" which can accommodate up to 65 people.
